Join Babies “R” Us Baby's First Christmas Event #Giveaway



Growing Up Madison is teaming up with Babies R Us for their Baby's First Christmas event. I don't remember my first Christmas but I have pictures to commemorate the big day. What are the traditions that you hold dear? What do you remember most about that day? For me it would be photos. It's the one day that everyone really gets together. It's a day of opening gifts and eating great food, calling family to wish them a Merry Christmas and just having a great time.   
Baby’s First Christmas is a special time in a family’s life filled with memories, traditions, and photos.  This holiday season, Babies "R" Us is celebrating Baby’s First Christmas as they host a series of in-store events and online giveaways around this exciting time in a family’s life.  

In-Store Events
Beginning November 9th and running thru December 7th, Babies “R” Us will be inviting fans to come shop at their stores across the U.S. each Saturday for gift ideas, holiday shopping tips, deals, giveaways and much more to help families with kids of all ages, especially those with newborns, get ready for the holidays.
Store event dates: Attendees will enjoy holiday festivities/crafts, giveaways, prizes and a free $10 Babies “R” Us Gift Card.
·         11/9 – Babies born from Jan. – March 2013
·         11/16 – Babies born from April – June 2013
·         11/23 – Babies born from July – Sept. 2013
·         12/7 – Babies born from Oct. – Dec. 2013

Twitter Parties & Giveaways
In addition to the in-store events, Babies “R” Us will be hosting weekly giveaways on Twitter as well as a series of three Twitter parties where we’ll share advice, ideas, and of course prizes to celebrate the season and Baby’s First Christmas. 
Twitter Party dates/themes: Attendees will enjoy a special offer and a chance to win additional prizes and giveaways.
·         Wednesday, 11/6 – “Holiday Traditions”
·         Wednesday, 11/20 – “Mommy’s Little Helpers”
·         Wednesday, 12/4 – “Final Prep for Baby’s First Christmas”

To help you celebrate Babies "R" Us Baby's First Christmas, Babies "R" Us is offering one of my reader a $50 gift card to help celebrate with your gift giving. Giftcard will be delivered by Babies "R" Us. Winner will be randomly chosen by Punchtab and will have 48hrs to respond to email sent or prize will be forfeited and a new winner announced.

  3. Two of my sisters in law had babies this year, so I will definitley tell them about this. Neither of them are located particularly close to a Babies R Us, though - there aren't many in our area sadly.

  27. We took my son to visit relatives on his first Christmas. He was only a few months old so we got him some basic toys and took lots of pictures.

  28. My daughter's first Christmas happened to be the day after we got out of the hospital. So we went to morning mass and then spent the day at my grandparents house and had a big feast to not only celebrate Christmas but to also celebrate her birth.

  29. We did a first year ornament. We also bought quite a few first year decorations for around the house and different clothing. We made sure we went back home to the MIdwest so that our son would be with family on his first Christmas and many after that. I do remember it well and it was quite a bit of fun.

  40. I've kept first Christmases simple with both of my boys. I found that it was more fun to just experience all the presents that they received from family than worry about buying them presents of their own!

  41. One of the traditions that we hold dear is going around the room when the whole family is united and sharing the things that we feel blessed about. It really warms the heart and brings us closer together as a family.

  42. I dressed them up in cute outfits and started saving baby clothes and I sew pieces of there clothes each year on their stockings. Eventually it will be covered from all there baby clothes!

  48. I have 2 new grandbabies that arrived on Oct 30 and the other Nov 5. OH my are they going to be spoiled. This year though it will be some small toys and clothes, diapers, and other necessities.

  60. My baby was born at 1:19pm Christmas Day 2012... so we didn't really get to celebrate his first real Christmas, though I had Christmas music pumping out of my ipad while pushing him out! haha! Does that count? This year we'll have to be careful to divide the day equally between celebrating Christmas and his birthday. :)

  62. Last year, we celebrated our daughter's first Christmas with my husband's family, though some of them went out of state for the holiday. This year we've got all of them together, and it'll be lots of fun with 4 cousins four and under!
