The Trash Pack Review

Disclaimer:  I was given the products in this post for the purpose of a review.
I was not paid in any way to write this review.
All opinions are my own.

When I was offered the chance to review The Trash Pack, the first person I thought about was my stinky brothers. You've met them before in quite a few of my other reviews that I'm not old enough to use yet. Being boys, stinky boys at that, they were the perfect person to try this out. When The Trash Pack arrived my younger brother Mikael claimed it for his own. So technically this is his review.

Meet the Trashies! Mikael received series 3 of The Trash Pack collection. It was difficult getting the perfect shot of the trashies in their package so of course mommy had to take them out. The Trash Pack comes with 1 big trash can, 5 small cans and 12 of the collectible trashies. The fun part of getting your Trashies is that you never know what you're going to get in your trash can.

Now these are collectibles so if you're into collecting cards or action figures you're going to love these. There are even limited editions that can be hard to find. With more than 100 Trash Pack characters to choose from you can collect and swap as much as you want. Now the Trashies are some funny looking creatures but not too overly gross that you won't want to play with them. Each Trashie is also named after something totally funny such as "Poop Monster", "Junkosaur" and even "Maggot Meatball".

Besides the collectible attraction there are games that you can play with your Trashies such as Take out the Trash, Stack the Trash and more. It does come with a booklet that list the games and how to play them so you're not left guessing. The Trashies are also pretty soft and squishy and you may want to keep them out of the reach of your little brothers and sisters (like Madison).

You'll have a lot of fun playing and trying to find that rare collectible Trashie. The Trash Packs aren't too overly expensive so you may even want to get more than one pack. The Trash Pack gang is available in 2, 5 and 12 packs and can be found at ToysRUs. There is also a Collector's Trash Can and a Collector's Carrying Case which both come with two exclusive Trashies. The Trash Pack got Mikael's Big Kids Thumbs Up!

  5. Oh my, aren't these super cute! I wish my husband would sell kids toys instead of action figures, I would have way more fun with them :) Maybe I will send some of these to my son in Germany for Christmas :)

  7. Those are so cute! I love them. My girls would really enjoy playing with them, but would probably leave them sitting out on the floor. Wonder if it hurts as bad as stepping on a lego when you step on these guys? ;)

  8. These remind me of the Garbage Pail Kid cards I loved as a kid. I am tempted to get some for my twin girls so I can play with them!

  10. These kind of remind me of the Garbage Pail Kids that so many little boys played with back in the 90s! The Trash Pack seems like a great toy for kids who feel like they are too old to play with Little People figurines but who are still young enough to want to play with toys.

  15. These remind me a little of some figures my kids collected and played games with when they were in school. I can't think of their name right now, doggone it. Anyhow, I can really see the appeal of these little things.

  16. These remind very much of Garbage pail kids that I had when I was a kid. My son and my nephew would get a kick out of the fact that its based on trash. Boys will be boys, what can I say. I will definitely have to check some out for stocking stuffers.

  17. I heard about the Trash Pack but wasn't exactly sure what they were. These look like they'd be something the ten year old around here would like.

  18. Oh these look very cute for kids to play with! I love some of those names too. Boys will love those gross but cute names. I can just see them now, chasing the girls at school with a Maggot Meatball. :-)

  19. These are really cute and collectible. I love their expressions and how colorful and vibrant they are. This set reminds me of the Garbage Pail Kids that we collected when we were kids. I think kids like anything that is funny or yucky.

  23. I think the trash pack is a cute little toy for boys no doubt. But for the tomboy/girl that I was when I was little, I would have wanted them. LOL
