NATURAWL All Natural Product Review

Once again our quest continues to bring you all natural products that you and your family can enjoy. Yes I did say family, not just your little ones. Today I bring you two product that I think you will love because mommy and I do. They are from the NATURAWL line of products. Now not only do we love NATURAWL because they're all natural but with every purchase a tree is planted. Even better for our environment.

Now NATURAWL decided to send me two products as I mentioned before and although they are from their Baby Line of Products they can be used for so much more. The first product is the NATURAWL Baby Soothing Seas Baby Booty Balm.

Now as the name suggests this is for babies booties, as in a diaper rash prevention cream. The ingredients were all that mommy and I could read such as Sweet Almond Oil which is the first ingredient, Organic Rose Petals, Organic Calendula, Lavender and other essential oils. There was nothing that we were worried about. It is also non-petrolatum based so it is not greasy and sticky. It does come in a glass jar so be careful and don't drop it. It has a very light pleasant smell so you will feel great about using it as well, nothing overwhelming.

Now mommy and I have also found because this isn't greasy or sticky that it is really great for dry skin. I do have sensitive and dry skin, especially with the change of weather. Mommy would use it on my legs and arms and it leaves a slight sheen as you can see from the photo above with mommy's finger. I also didn't break out so I would certainly recommend for those with sensitive skin as well.

Now the other product was the NATURAWL Soap Berries Organic Laundry Wash. Mommy and I were really curious about this since we had never used soap berries before to do our laundry. The soap berries are the dried fruit of the Ritha tree and the saponin released is a 100% substitute to normal detergent. We had actually never seen them before now and we couldn't wait to try them to see if they worked.

The soap berries came with a 100% organic cotton wash bag and you only need 4-5 berries to do a load of laundry. According to the bag this can do an average of 100 loads of laundry. Having only used liquid detergent or the new pacs mommy decided to give it a try on my laundry. The instructions were pretty simple.  You put the berries in the cotton wash bag and toss them into your washing machine with your load of laundry. That 4 berries you just threw in can also be used 4 times.

They actually worked!! WOW! Was mommy shocked. Mommy didn't expect them to really work but they really did. My laundry wasn't too dirty but they did come out clean. Granted mommy didn't use them on extremely dirty clothes so she can't guarantee that they will work if your clothing is super dirty. They do work on babies clothing though and even your own lightly stained ones. The good thing about the berries as well is that they are fully compostable. No plastic containers to fill up landfills. Yay for NATURAWL.

Now Mommy plans to buy more of these berries because they do work out to be more economical in the long run compared to other detergents. NATURAWL definitely gets my Two Tiny Thumbs Up!

  1. The organic laundry wash sounds like a great idea. Especially if you or your child have sensitive skin

  2. I have never heard of the Ritha tree but I think, somewhere I have heard of soap berries. What a natural way to do laundry. Can't get any more natural than that. I want to check these out further.

  3. I always wanted to try the soap berries. I have seen them on various reviews and haven't given them a thought. I would really like to hear an update about how they worked with heavily soiled clothing. The bum balm looks like a great find. I am worried that glass jars wouldn't work in our home and would have to transfer them to one of our plastic jars we upcyled. Thanks for the review.

  4. Hmmmmmm.. Definitely gonna try these once baby gets here. Did they say anything about allergic reactions to these berries?

  5. Those laundry berries sound intriguing--would love to give them a try on my own clothing (no children here)--going to check them out!

  6. Where was this when my guys were little - especially my little man with sensitive skin. We SO could have used that baby balm for his diaper rash.

  7. This is the first time I heard about Soap Berries Organic Laundry Wash but if it offers a healthier option for washing clothes AND actually works that awesome. Gotta learn more about those!

  8. The whole concept of using soap berries is completely fascinating, but I love the idea of a more natural clean like that. It seems like I had some of them years ago but let my daughter try them. I'll have to ask her about that!

  9. We have such an awesome diaper rash balm for Des, that I do find myself using it all over his body. It's similar ingredients, although yours looks a little better. The white paste stuff does NOT go anywhere but his diaper area. However, these kinds of balms are great!

  10. The laundry wash sounds amazing and the description of the baby booty creams makes me actually want to try it for my dry elbows myself! x

  19. I have heard of soap berries before and have always wanted to try them. I wonder if they would last longer than regular detergent. If it does 100 loads than I think that would last but I would be curious to see if they washed my clothes as good as liquid. I will have to check them out.
