My Hikes Review

Disclaimer:  I was given the products in this post for the purpose of a review.
I was not paid in any way to write this review.
All opinions are my own.

As most of my readers know I just turned 20 months old not too long ago. There's a good and bad thing about me being 20 months. For example mommy and I went shopping late this summer to stock up on winter clothing and we found the prefect jeans. Not knowing how how tall I would be by Spring mommy decided to get size 3T. I'm 35" tall but these go from 37"-39.5" which means that they'll be too big. I currently also wear size 18-24 months or size 2T.

I'm tall and skinny so I'm in between sizes. 18-24 months are too short on me but anything bigger usually are too long or big in the waist. The great thing about jeans now though are that most of them come with adjustable tabs making them the right fit.

Well that's great for the fit around my waist, but what about the length? This normally means that my jeans are too long, so mommy usually have to roll my cuff which sometimes doesn't always work. If I'm running around a lot I sometimes constantly need to be re-cuffed.  In the meantime I can trip over them because they're too long. Well My Hikes has the solution. They decided to send me a pair of their Flower Pant Cuff Fasteners. A great way to hike up my pants and still make it look fashionable.

Other cool designs to choose from
Now I got the Flower design because I'm a girl but there are also designs for boys as well so they don't feel left out. After all boys sometimes need their pants cuffed too.

Before My Hikes

Now see my before and this is my after. What a difference and a fashion statement it makes.

After My Hikes

In the summer time I can hike them up and make them into capris and during the winter I can roll them down. Now mommy never need to worry when shopping about the size of my jeans. She can now buy them with lots of room to grow thanks to My Hikes.

Yes mommy, I'm talking to you! No more jeans snafus!!
Now My Hikes are made of very high quality plastic, mommy doesn't have to worry that they are going to break while I'm playing. There are also no pins to stick me so that's a plus as well. There are lots of styles to choose from and and there are available in both boys and girl fashions.

Here is a video showing how easy it is to use My Hikes and the reasons why My Hikes is so handy.

Now let me tell you a bit about inventor and Mom-preneur Dani Schlesinger and how the idea for My Hikes came about.
Dani's inspiration to create My Hikes came about one cold Chicago day when she couldn't keep her 2 year old son Henry's cuffed pants from falling down, getting under the heels of his socked feet, and causing him slip. She searched the internet for a kids' pant-clip. Surely there is a solution for this, she thought. She found no pant-clips on the internet for kids, but a new business idea was born that day.

  13. We have such problems with jeans - with both kids! They're either too short or the waist is too big. I love that there are products to help this. Scarlet is heavier than she is tall. Des is taller than he is heavy.
