Almost Wordless Wednesday: I'm Sick Again

Mommy and I had an entirely different post scheduled for you today but we've decided to do it next week instead. The good thing about that is mommy and I don't have to think about what we want to do next week. It's already there for you.

Well the bad news is that I'm sick again. I had a 103 temp all day yesterday and was in the emergency room until almost 6am this morning. With a combination of Motrin and Tylenol (alternating between them both) my fever refused to go away. According to the doctor its viral and with my continued regimen of both fever reliever for the next 24hours I should be ok.

Combine that with Pedialyte or any electrolyte to keep me hydrated I should be good as new in no time. Now you know I was not a happy camper on my hospital bed and mommy got a photo of me to prove it. I hope you're all doing better than I am today. Happy Wednesday!

Being sick is the most awful thing in the world not only to kids who are not feeling well but to their mommies as well.

  5. Oh no!! so sorry she Madison is not feeling well. I remember last year, when Emma had RSV pneumonia and had a 104 fever, I was a wreck an she too was so very cranky. No fun for all, when are little ones are sick and just so hoping she is feeling better very soon now. Totally in my thoughts and prayers.

  10. Awww, little lady :(

I know she is still little, but seriously, it's the time of year. Seasons change, the kids are all back in school and it never fails that we all end up getting sick at one point before the end of October.

  14. Oh poor girl she does look sick. Try to also give her as much vitamin C as her body can take (just below bowel tolerance). That usually gets rid of cold, flu and many viral infections much faster than otherwise.

    1. Mommy never thought of Vitamin C. It's just constant motrin and tylenol. Vitamin C sounds a whole lot nicer as well. Thank you for that tip. ♥ Madison

  15. Poor sweetie :( Serenity sends her love and hugs, and offers to loan you Pig (but just for a minute). She also suggests eating Candy Corn - turns everything you touch orange, and we all know orange is a happy color, so she thinks that will obviously make you feel better *wink*

  24. I can definitely relate to poor little Madison because I have been sick as well and now my daughter is very sick. I guess it is that time of year. I don't think either of us will be going to the hospital but I will be happy when we are back to normal again.
