Yochi Yochi Shoes Review

Disclaimer: I was given the products in this post for the purpose of a review.
I was not paid in any way to write this review.
All opinions are my own.

I can't begin to say how excited I am about my Yochi Yochi shoes. When Yochi Yochi decided to send me a pair of their shoes for review I had no idea what to expect. I had never heard of them before but I took a look at their shoes and I fell in love instantly.

I'm a shoe connoisseur and I can never have enough. The more the merrier I say and this one goes to the top of my list. The great thing about Yochi Yochi is that they have a printable size chart so there was no mistaking the size I needed. Mommy printed it out and after sizing me we decided to get the Princess Sakura. I couldn't wait for Princess Sakura to arrive.

When they arrived they didn't come in a regular box like other shoes. No, no! They came in their own little bag with the Yochi Yochi logo on the front. Now you're probably wondering, what's so special about those shoes? They look like regular shoes to me with a little character. Well that's where you're wrong. There's nothing regular about these. These shoes squeak with every step I take. Now according to mommy she will always know where I am, I can no longer be sneaky and try and steal those amazing lollies she has in her room. I will get caught for sure.

That doesn't deter me though. I love my shoes so much that I actually wanted to sleep in them. Mommy almost had a fight on her hands trying to take them off. The design on the front is so adorable and there's even a cute little design on the back as well so I not only look good from the front but also the back.

Yochi Yochi shoes comes with no laces so that's a plus especially since I don't know how to tie them. They do come with velcro tabs making them easy to take on and off. It is extremely lightweight and very flexible. They are also made of nylon.

The rubber outsole is textured so it grips whatever surface I'm walking on perfectly. Really great for tiled floors because I have no fear of slipping and sliding. The footbed is also nice and soft and really comfortable.

Now you're probably wondering also what causes that squeaking sound. Well there's a little diaphragm in the side of the shoe so every step I take causes air to go in and out of it causing that tiny little squeak. I surely had fun stomping in them let me tell you.

Now here's a little bit about Yochi Yochi.
Yochi Yochi is proud to introduce the latest trend from Japan here on American soil. Yochi Yochi shoes are made with a small squeaking diaphragm in the heel of each shoe which causes a small squeak when your child takes a step. The noise is fun, but we think it goes beyond that.
With the squeaking sound of every step, you can find comfort in that fact that your stealthy child will have a hard time getting away from your side without you knowing.
In addition to safety, many doctors have suggested that when children can audibly recognize their footsteps, the sounds can reinforce the natural rhythm of walking and actually help train them to walk.
We strive to create durable products at great prices because we know how fast your children grow up!
Mommy decided to take a little video of me wearing my Yochi Yochi shoes so you can hear the squeaking as I stomped around. It may be a little hard to hear due to the traffic outside but you get the idea.

Yochi Yochi shoes are very reasonably priced for the peace of mind you receive knowing where your little one is at all times. They are also available in beautiful boy and girl designs so you will find one for the little boys in your life as well. They also have matching socks too. Awesome!
Yochi Yochi certainly gets my Two Tiny Thumbs Up!

  6. Oh wow! Madison! Your video was sooo cute, and your outfit matched your brand new pair of Yochi Yochis PERFECTLY! Great job kiddo. I really really love that they squeak like that. AND that they are nylon and flexible!

My daughter has some special orthopedic stuff that makes finding great shoes a real hassle. I am going to have to fund-raise for these pretty little babies, even though $30 isn't much ... it's still a bit!
