HALO® SleepSack® Review and Giveaway

Disclaimer:  I was given the products in this post for the purpose of a review.
I was not paid in any way to write this review.
All opinions are my own.

About the HALO SleepSack Early Walker & SleepSack Big Kids:
HALO Innovation’s SleepSack® wearable blankets have become the standard for hospital nurseries and parents alike. In fact, 1,000 hospital nurseries use the HALO SleepSack Swaddle instead of blankets through the HALO Safer Way to Sleep Initiative. As your child grows from baby to toddler, HALO Innovations offers the SleepSack Early Walker and SleepSack Big Kids - now in a new lightweight- knit fabric.
When offered the opportunity to review a new product from HALO for their new product mommy and I said yes. I loved being swaddled as a baby and HALO SleepSacks were the only way mommy knew of swaddling me. They were easy to use and totally stress free. Have you ever tried swaddling a baby the hospital way? Those nurses are great, unfortunately mommy isn't that great so this was the next best thing.

Well HALO SleepSacks are not just only available for babies any longer. Did you know that as your child grows from baby to toddler that he or she can transition to Halo SleepSack Early Walker and SleepSack Big Kids? And guess what? They are now available in a new lightweight-knit fabric as well!

HALO SleepSack Early Waker (M, L, XL) and SleepSack Big Kids (2T-3T and 4T-5T) offer your child the warmth and security of a SleepSack as well as unique foot openings for more mobility when awake. Bedtime routines are important for your child and these SleepSack wearable blankets provide that secure feeling they need to fall asleep fast and sleep soundly throughout the night.

Mommy couldn't decide on which size to choose but since I wear 2T in clothing we decided to go with that size. I received the Big Kids in size 2T-3T so it was a little big when I put it on but that only meant that there was even more blanket room for me. I hate being under blankets and kick them off when sleeping so this was a great alternative for me. Mommy could also tuck my feet into the opening making it a complete blanket when I'm sleeping at night. She doesn't do that though since I love getting up in the middle of the night and come to her room.

Because it is a blanket you can fit your regular sleepwear under and since it is also lightweight it is perfect for the summer months. They do have a Micro-Fleece and Comfort Mesh fabric available as well so you can also have one that is perfect for the colder fall/winter/spring months.

This was super easy to use and wear. There is one thing different in the design of this wearable blanket. Unlike most clothing that zips from bottom to top, this one zips from top to bottom. It was rather unique as mommy had never done that before with any of my clothing. It was nothing that stopped me from wearing it though. I also loved that I could run around while wearing it as you can see in my picture. I was more than happy to wear it.

Now if you're wondering where you can get your own HALO SleepSack, you can buy these amazing SleepSacks from Amazon: SleepSack Early Walker and SleepSack Big Kids.

You can also connect with HALO SleepSacks via their Website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Pinterest Pages.

  1. How interesting! My girls hated to be swaddled as babies...so I doubt they would enjoy this. However, I know of several people that would love it and will be sure to share it with them!

  3. When I was having kids, there were no sleep sacks and I had never tried swaddeling. Our Grandkids were swaddled and I seen how relaxing it was to them. Wish I had this when mine was young. What a great idea that this grows with you... and works as a blanket too. You will need that with winter coming.

  4. my grandsons both love being under blankets and snuggling, esp. in the Maine winters! I really like the Sleepsacks for Big Kids and early walkers because they have expanded their product line to include bigger kids and it helps to keep them warm too.

  8. Only about a year too late for my youngest! With both kids I looked everywhere for something like this in an over 18month size and couldn't find it! They are crazy sleepers but my littlest especially would get cold at night without multiple layers/blankets! Thankfully they can both fix their covers if needed! I loved the swaddle sacks and these look great for older kids!
