GIANT Microbes Review and Giveaway

Disclaimer: I was given the products in this post for the purpose of a review.
I was not paid in any way to write this review.
All opinions are my own.

Have you ever heard of the GIANT Microbes company? I didn't but a friend of my mom had and told mommy all about it. Well mommy does what she does best. She googled and read all about it and contacted the GIANT Microbes company and they said "sure we'll send you a microbe and we'll also offer your readers one as well". What an awesome company!!

Taken from the GIANT Microbes site:

Founded in 2002, our mission here at Giantmicrobes Inc. is to produce unique and interesting gifts for children and adults alike.
Whether your interest is educational, medical, or just plain old entertainment, we're your number one source for all things microbial!

Well it sure was tough choosing a microbe. After all they had lots of microbes, some of them that mommy and I had never even heard of before. Each Microbe comes with a picture of the microbe it represents along with information about it as well. You get to learn the scientific name. This is not only a fun stuffed toy but also an educational one, after all there's nothing better than having fun while learning right? Each Original Microbe is 5-7" tall and is magnified one thousand times the original that they represent.

I ended up choosing the Heart Cell, wanna know why? It came with a real beating heart sound. Did you know that the scientific name for the Heart Cell was Cardiomyocyte? I got to learn that the Heart is made of muscle cells which pump the body's blood throughout our lives from dawn to dusk and then from dusk to dawn. I also like pushing on my heart cell and hearing that little heartbeat as well. Totally amazing!
Each Microbe comes with an informational card
Not only fun but educational as well

GIANT Microbes makes great gifts for everyone. You can give one to your favorite doctor, friend, teacher, anyone you think deserves a truly unique gift. With so much to choose from you're bound to find one that each of them would love. How about a Book Worm for that book loving friend of yours? I'm thinking of getting a Bed Bug or how about the Flu for my big brother and putting it in his bed. Wouldn't that be really funny? Well it would be for me, not sure for him.

I give GIANT Microbes my Two Tiny Thumbs Up for not just being great unique gifts but being educational as well. I love my Heart Cell Microbe and I know you will love yours as well.

Loving my Heart Cell Microbe

You can connect with Giant Microbes via their WebsiteFacebook and Twitter pages.

The makers of Giant Microbes has decided to offer one of my reader a GIANT Microbes Original of their choice a $10 value. I told you they were awesome! The Giveaway is sponsored and will be delivered by GIANT Microbes and is opened to US Residents. Winner will be chosen by PunchTab and will have 48hrs to respond to the email sent from PunchTab or a new winner will be announced.
