August 2013 Bluum Toddler Box Review

It’s that time once again to review another Bluum Box. This is the 19 month old toddler box.  If you don’t remember what last month’s box look like, take a quick look here

Bluum is a monthly subscription service for babies ages newborn to 3 years of age and costs $24.95 a month.

Last month was all about Lil Artiste and the theme for this month is Lets Make Friends. I’m really big on making friends and actually love doing it so I was really excited to see what was included this month.

 My card read this month:

Month 19: Sharing and Socializing

Your baby may now be seeking out new relationships with family members and fellow toddlers. Reinforce your baby’s social interactions by encouraging them to share with others and teaching them fun new games to play with a buddy.

Your little one is growing up so fast. Enjoy these moments when they surprise you with new-found interests and friends!

Now the fun stuff! Lets see what came in my box.

Happy Munchies Rice Cakes (Apple) by Happy Family – $2.90

Developed by Moms & Pediatricians, 12+ Months Organic Superfoods contains 23mg Choline for Healthy Eyes & Brain Development. Who Grain Corn, No Artificial Colors, Flavors or Preservatives. The perfect finger food that is USDA Organic for toddlers.

I was already a fan of Happy Family and I couldn’t wait to open these. I love the apple flavor although it’s not my favorite but I love them regardless!

Pet Miniature World by B Kids – $6.99

This play set form B Kids is a great collectable toy with all pets involved in building the pets Wonderland.

Not sure how I feel about this as yet. I have a feeling this may not make it out the box but if it does I won’t play with it for long.

I Can Share Pull Out Pictures Book by Little Learners – $5.43

Introduce first concepts of manners with four double-sided sturdy tabs to pull-out and explore and simple interplay between illustrations and story. This robust padded and cased format promotes tactile exploration. Beautiful and engaging animal illustrations brings the subject to life with simple, rhythmical text that links concepts to clear, real-life examples.

I just love books and was super excited that there was a book in my box this month and a really cool book too. I can’t wait to read this one.

Beach Ball by Century Novelty – $1.59

Beach ball made of heavier gauge PVC will provide a longer life. Bright colors for hours of enjoyment.

This unfortunately came when summer is almost over and we wished we had gotten it last month. I’m still going to have fun playing with it.

Happy Tot Greek Yogurt by Happy Family – $1.81

Launched on Mother’s Day 2006, and founded and operated by moms, Happy Family ™ is the first organic brand to offer a complete line of nutrient-rich foods for babies, toddlers, and kids growing bodies. Constantly innovating, Happy Family has been a pioneer in the industry, adding extra nutrition to its products – like Salba®, the super chia, probiotics, and Choline for brain health – whenever possible, the company’s products are consistently recognized for superior taste and nutrition. Happy Family believes that every baby deserves to be a happy baby. With every product sold, the company supports Project Peanut Butter, a nonprofit that feeds starving children in Africa.

As I’ve stated before. I love Happy Family foods and this is another one of my favorite as well so this isn’t anything new for me. I do wish that Bluum included less foods or included something I’ve never tried before.

WipeBox (Gumball) by Ubermom – $6.99

Reusable, designer wipe container for your diaper bag, handbag, school bag, gym bag or car.

This is going in one of my diaper bag. I currently use one from Pampers but it isn’t as nice as this one so I’m glad that I got another one. The only downfall with this is that I have to open the entire container to take a wipe out instead of pull one from the top like the Pampers case.

Total of our August Bluum Box was $25.71 which once again was a little disappointing, just like last months box. I did enjoy getting our book but wasn’t too fond of getting so much food every month. If next month box comes with more food again and less of what I like mommy says that might be our last Bluum Box.

Next month’s box is going to be World of Colors and that sounds really interesting. I’m really looking forward to getting that one.

You may use the following link and get your own Bluum Box without waiting for an invite.

Here is our first unboxing of a Bluum Box.
